Background:
In the early 1900s, researchers thought after 4-5 years of age, the brain had met a determined path for life. In the past 30 years of combined research in Neuroscience and Psychology, concurring outcomes of studies show that our brain’s synaptic pathways change with each experience, enabling changes in our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We can conquer even the toughest obstacles with the correct treatment and perseverance.

We have helped hundreds of people similar to you!

Learning requires that you identify and discuss personal aspects of your life, as well as your strengths, and sometimes weaknesses. Therapy can be painful, and there are risks in the discomfort from introspection, self-recognition, and acceptance. This can lead to positive transformation and peace of mind. We teach techniques for identifying “growth minded” areas, for positive reprocessing. Through acceptance that change is necessary for your progress, your commitment to work toward solutions that will help in your unique life’s situations, and your willingness to try new things, you can succeed. We will be there with you! At SWAN, you will not be alone on the path you choose. It is important to us that we meet with you in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

We draw from many concurring scientifically researched and proven effective therapeutic concepts and techniques.
